“Every Who down in Whoville, the tall and the small,
Was singing! Without any presents at all!”
–Dr. Seuss, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

Today marks the 57th anniversary of the establishment of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and we invite you to celebrate this iconic wild place.

Bring the family and join us in listening to songs, watching films, and hearing poetry and stories at the Arctic Jingle & Mingle on Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Church of Love on 3502 Spenard Rd., Anchorage.

The event is free. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and stories begin at 7 pm. There will be cookies, hot cocoa, and ornament-making, plus many options for learning about the Arctic Refuge and what we can do to protect it.

The Grinch may whine, lie and steal, but the Whos down in Whoville will keep singing, they will.
