Cecilia Segal is a rising third-year law student at Harvard Law School, where she is actively involved with the Environmental Law Program. Cecilia hopes to pursue a career in public interest environmental litigation, and has worked with several environmental organizations including the Conservation Law Foundation and the Clean Air Task Force. Prior to law school, Cecilia completed a B.A. in political science at Tufts University and later worked in the intellectual property department at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

After spending the past eighteen years of her life in Boston, Cecilia wanted to use this summer as an opportunity to explore the West Coast. She began the summer with an internship at the California Office of the Attorney General in Oakland and is continuing her adventures at Trustees for Alaska. Cecilia is thrilled to be working with the amazing attorneys at Trustees to help protect the Alaska wilderness. Though this is her first time in Alaska, she is already struck by what a beautiful and unique place Alaska is, providing even more motivation to help preserve its natural resources and defend its wildlife. When not in the office, Cecilia hopes to spend all of her time outdoors exploring the state’s incredible parks, observing wildlife (especially moose!), and soaking up the long daylight hours.
