Meet Jane Sauer

Meet Jane Sauer, a new board member with TrusteesBoard Member Jane Sauer has been a business attorney in Anchorage for more than 30 years. Her clients include small businesses, including those in healthcare, architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, and tourism. She also represents Alaska Native corporations and non-profit organizations.

Jane loves living in Alaska and spends as much time as she can hiking, running, and skiing in the Chugach mountain range and other beautiful places. She is the mother of three grown sons, all of whom were born, raised, and now live in and love Alaska.

Giving voice to Alaska’s people and wildlife

Jane is a longtime supporter of Trustees for Alaska because she knows Trustees will protect Alaska’s wild places. She joined the board so she could do more to protect what is special about Alaska.

“I respect how Trustees works within our legal system to hold us all accountable and to give voice to Alaska and its people, fish, and wildlife,” she said. “I’m constantly impressed by how much Trustees accomplishes with its small staff and budget.“
